AR Rahman lauds V Harikrishna's music for Paramathma

The music of movie Paramathma, which was released into market last week, has received overwhelming response from the music lovers. Interestingly, the songs of Puneet Rajkumar starrer movie have impressed Oscar award winner music maestro AR Rahman. What more do the makers of the movie expect from it than this?

Addressing the audio release function of Paramathma, Yogaraj Bhat shared his excitement about the huge success of the music. The director said, "It was a difficult job to create a wonderful music as we had a tough competition from movies like Jackie and Hudugru. Me and Harikrishna have done lot of hard work for the songs, which have yielded good result."

What makes Yogaraj Bhat happiest man in the world is AR Rahman's appreciation for Harikrishna's music. He added, "Rahman sir happened to listen the Paramathma songs when we were giving final touches to them at his recording house. Impressed by the tunes, he sent an appreciation message to V Harikrishna."

However, Paramathma has five songs and musician V Harikrishna has composed music for the lyrics of Yogaraj Bhat and Jayanth Kaikini. Sonu Nigam, Shreya Ghoshal, Tippu, Harikrishna and Vani Harikrishna have crooned the songs. All the tracks are good to listen and they are sure to become chart-busters.

Neil Patrick Harris Receives Star on Hollywood Walk of Fame

Neil Patrick Harris -- what's not to love?! I seriously am having a hard time finding one flaw in this man. He's hilarious, adorable, extremely talented, and just an all around nice guy. And his outstanding attributes aren't going unnoticed or ignored. Yesterday, the actor was given his very own star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, joining the constellation made up of the entertainment industry's finest. NPH was accompanied to the ceremony by his fiancé, David Burtka -- both looking dapper in their classy suits.

Also showing support for their friend were Jason Segel (Harris' How I Met Your Mother co-star) and Joss Whedon (director of the movie Avengers and the viral hit Dr. Horrible's Sing-A-Long Blog). The former Emmy host received praise for his past work, including his child-star role of Doogie Howser and his memorable appearance on Glee. Even his fellow celebs took time to say a few words about the superstar: Segel introduced the man of the hour and joked that, "Neil has been entertaining us in television, stage, the Internet and film for over 60 years." Like Harris himself, his brief speech was both witty and charismatic while he thanked the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce for the great (and well deserved) honor. At the end he didn't disappoint the crowd and went around signing autographs -- he even drew a
handlebar moustache on one fan.

Sofia Vergara Has A Crush On Halle Berry

Sofia Vergara has become a worldwide sensation and a popular celeb crush among both men and women. But who does she have a crush on? When asked which Hollywood female stars she admires, the actress admits “I have many, but I love Halle Berry. She’s perfection. Every time I see her, I want to give her a standing ovation because she’s so flawless.” Quite the compliment from someone who also seems pretty perfect herself.

But the Modern Family star should not only be praised for her looks -- she's also a highly talented actress. In fact,
Sofia is nominated for an Emmy at this Sunday’s big ceremony for Best Supporting Actress and she's up against the ceremony's host and hilarious Glee star, Jane Lynch. Don't expect there to be any tense feelings between the two nominees though, since Sofia claims, “When we see each other, we kiss and hug each other. I really admire her. Her role on Glee is amazing, and you know what? She deserved to win. I love her. But yes, the media does seem to want us to have
this funny rivalry, and I don’t mind.”

Vergara also opened up about what it was like to play a
transsexual in 2006’s Grilled, stating that it wasn't hard because "I look like a transsexual anyway. I’m a woman, but I’m super-exaggerated with my boobs, my a**, my makeup, and my accent. When I get ready for an event, I always look at myself in the mirror and say, ‘I
look like a transvestite!’ I love it.” I think many men (and women) would have to disagree.

January Jones Gives Birth To A Baby Boy

Betty Draper is a mom! Reports have confirmed that January Jones gave birth to a baby boy on Tuesday. According to her rep, "Mom and baby are doing great." So what did the Mad Men star decide to name her precious newborn? The baby's name is (drum roll please)...Xander Dane Jones. Common? No. Adorable? Absolutely! For a first time mom, she's certainly showing up some of Hollywood's veteran mothers who think numbers and fruit are proper names for children. Way to go January!

Jones announced her pregnancy in April, but has yet to disclose the identity of the child's father (notice the baby is taking her last name). The star has dated
Jason Sudeikis, singer Josh Groban and Ashton Kutcher in the past if you care to place bets on the plausible candidates. But with or without a man, January is ready to start a family. Back in June, Mad Men creator Matthew Weiner said the actress had been wanting a baby "very badly." He also added that, "She's got a big heart and she's been talking about having children since I met her, which is not always common with actresses. I think she's going to be amazing." Well her long-time wish just came true -- congratulations to the new mother!

Paul McCartney Posts Notice of Wedding

All he needs is love! Although reports were claiming that Sir Paul McCartney and Nancy Shevell were planning to get married this weekend at his farmhouse in Sussex, it turns out that these rumors are completely untrue. BUT a wedding is definitely in the works for the happy couple. The musician and Shevell -- who announced their engagement this past May -- posted their notice that they intend to get married at the Old Marylebone Town Hall, in London. You die-hard Beatles fans may feel a sense of deja vu and here's why: this happens to be the same venue Mr. McCartney married his late wife, Linda. Former bandmate, Ringo Starr, also got married at that same location. In fact, many other celebrities have chosen that specific venue simply because of its connection to The Beatles.

The notice was made on Wednesday, after the pair met with Superintendent Registrar Alison Cathcart. Upon meeting with McCartney and Shevell, Cathcart stated, "They were lovely, very relaxed and very charming and clearly in love with each other." Always a good sign for a couple that's about to get married. So when is the actual wedding day? No official day has not been announced yet, but there has been speculation they will wed in October.By having filed the notice on September 14th, the couple can marry as early as Sept. 30, after 16 days. But they also have until Sept. 14, 2012 to carry the ceremony out. I doubt they'll make us wait that long though. My bet is on October!

Evan Rachel Wood is Obsessed With Justin Bieber

Everyone has Bieber Fever -- even the celebs! In an interview for the October issue of Marie Claire, Evan Rachel Wood reveals she just can't get enough of Justin Bieber. After watching the teen star's documentary Never Say Never, she became a Bieber for life, confessing, "I ended up seeing it three times — in the theaters. One of those times was the director's cut, I'm not even kidding. I got obsessed with the kid." Having once been a teenage celebrity herself, the actress and the singer would have a lot to talk about, but she has yet to meet up with him. But if that day ever comes Wood admits, "It's going to be weird if I ever meet him. He's brought so much joy to my life." A bunch of teenage girls are nodding their heads in agreement.

Bieber adoration aside, the former True Blood star also opened up more about her bisexuality -- news she made public earlier this year -- and stated, "That's a big part of who I am, and it always has been for as long as I can remember. I can't say I'm one way or the other because I've honestly fallen in love with a man and I've honestly fallen in love with a woman. I don't know how you label that, it's just how it is." The man she's referring to is her former rocker beau,
Marilyn Manson, whom she broke off her engagement to last year. Wood has no regrets about their relationship though and says, "I am glad—for both of us. We both have a lot more growing to do. I don't think it would've been right, but I am glad that we were engaged. I think we needed to make a statement to each other that it was legit. So that was good."

As for her current love life, there's been rumors that the actress has rekindled her romance with British actor
Jamie Bell. When asked if the two were officially back to being an item she played coy, but hinted, "I mean, I've got his initial tattooed on my ankle, so…" We get the hint. Looks like Jamie has won her heart...well him and Justin Bieber
